Germany goalkeeper Jens Lehmann insists he is happy to represent Arsenal in Sunday´s Euro 2008 final despite his "difficult" relationship with manager Arsene Wenger last season.

The 38-year-old is poised to join Bundesliga club Stuttgart after barely featuring under the Frenchman during the last campaign, with Manuel Almunia favoured in the Gunners goal, and now -despite some less-than-polished performances for his country during the tournament - he is set to face Spain in this weekend´s showpiece.

"It´s a great end to a tough year and it would mean a lot to win it because in the end my difficult season was down to my club manager," the German said. "We have had some discussion about that and I always told him what I was thinking about his decision. But I´m quite proud to represent Arsenal in Sunday´s final."
