Cristiano Ronaldo looks to be in fine shape ahead of the upcoming season after producing a pretty outrageous backheel pass during a pre-season friendly against AC Milan.

The Portuguese superstar is looking to guide his side back to the top of La Liga as well as looking for another European crown, and all indications are that he is ready to do just that.

Real Madrid ran out as winners against the Italian giants on penalties and Ronaldo showed more than enough during the match, culminating in this pretty special piece of skill which left his rivals bamboozled.

The former Manchester United man charged forward, only to swivel and offload a square pass with a backheel.

The outrageous skill came after he had done something similarly brilliant in the warm-up earlier this week, which you can check out below as well.

Goalkeeper Kiko Casilla scored the winning penalty as Real Madrid won the shootout 10-9, bringing to an end their pre-season tour of Australia and China. Next up for the Spanish giants is the Audi cup where they will take on Tottenham.

It's been far from plain sailing so far for new boss Rafa Benitez, who has come in for criticism from the Spanish press already following some underwhelming performances. They failed to score in two of their four games so far, against AC Milan and Roma, and the former Liverpool man will be hoping for more when the next stage of their preparations commence next week.
