Man of the match Hakan Yakin took great delight in helping Switzerland conclude their Euro 2008 campaign on a high by inflicting a first defeat of the tournament on a much-changed Portugal side on Sunday.

The Young Boys midfielder struck twice in the second half - the latter from the penalty spot - to secure three points as the co-hosts bowed out in style and ended the seven-year tenure of coach Kobi Kuhn on a winning note.

"First I have to compliment the team," said Yakin, who also notched Switzerland´s only other goal of the competition in Wednesday´s 2-1 loss to Turkey.
