Five pairings that could spice up the WWE

Football News

WWE has become infamous for their superstar/diva relationships over the past few decades, Edge and Lita, Trish Stratus and Jeff hardy and even Mae Young and Mark Henry are some of the most memorable, but who would fit together on the main roster now?

Finn Balor and Becky Lynch

There is no doubt in anyone's mind that Finn and Becky will end up in a teaming up at some point once Finn is called up to the main roster. Becky says she owes her career to Finn and that without him she wouldn't be the girl she is today, so it would be great to see them work together.

Both are fantastic in the ring, but Becky lacks Finn's skills on the mic, but that's ok there is room for improvement. It would be great to have an all Irish coupling and it would be interesting to see who WWE would put them up against.

Seth Rollins and Nikki Bella

This coupling has been hinted at a lot in WWE over the past year or so, since Nikki Bella joined The Authority at Summerslam last year she has Tweeted and Instagrammed a few pictures of herself wearing the WWE World Heavyweight Champion's shirt.

Then just to add more fuel to the fire, Rollins himself appeared on a radio show late last year where he admitted Nikki Bella was the most beautiful diva he had ever seen up close.

Could this be a fantastic way for the Divas Champion to gain an even bigger heel reaction? Could she become a part of John Cena and Seth Rollins on-going feud? Who knows what the future holds?

King Barrett and Paige

Even though Wade Barrett used to date Paige's best friend Alicia Fox and currently the pair hate each other on Total Divas, I still think that Paige and Barrett would be a great fit together. They are both British born superstars with a heap of accolades under their belt and could fit together quite well because their wrestling style is similar.

Obviously right now, Paige is embroiled in the Divas Revolution and Barrett doesn't really have a lot to do, but when another Diva steps into the Championship picture, it could be the perfect time for these two to pair up and dominate WWE.

Charlotte and Randy Orton

Who else could ground the "genetically superior" diva than the "Appex Predator" himself Randy Orton. Both superstars are next generation performers and children of WWE Hall of Famers. They both possess genetic talents and traits from their parents and much like the stable of Legacy they could show the WWE why they were bred for supremacy.

Charlotte is set for a Divas title reign in the near future and maybe Randy could go after a mid-card championship after his current rivalry with Sheamus is over so that the two could be WWE's newest power couple.

Dean Ambrose and AJ Lee

I know, AJ Lee has retired, but clutching at straws here, how good would the Black Widow fit with The Lunatic Fridge? Many of the WWE Universe still hold out hope for an AJ return and I think if she did return then Ambrose would be the perfect person for her to team with.

WWE have no idea how to book Ambrose, that much has been evident over the past few weeks and if AJ returned, they would have no idea what to do with her either so it would make sense that these to team up and dominate WWE the crazy way.

None of these pairings are set in stone and with nine divas now on the current roster and Lana teamed up with Dolph Ziggler whilst Summer Rae is with Rusev, there is plenty of room for superstars and divas to join together in the near future.
