So it was a wonder that when Ronaldo took to the streets to showcase his talents, not many people were interested.

Nobody would have known it was the Portugal captain however as he was kitted out in a full body suit with hair and beard that made him look unrecognisable.

The former Manchester United man took to the streets in his new get up with a football and a dog. Almost an hour passed with nobody seeming interested in playing football with what they believed to be a strange man on the streets.

The 30-year-old even asked for a woman's number but was stunningly rejected, we have a feeling she will be distraught if she ever sees the video online.

He had a few moments as he exchanged some headers with a passer by, while he kept the ball away from another.

Finally a young boy decided to entertain the two time Champions League winner, however the young lad did look slightly confused when Ronaldo picked up the ball and proceeded to sign it.

All was cleared up when the superstar, who has scored 313 goals in 300 games for Real Madrid, unveiled himself.

The slight crowd soon turned into a mob of people as civilians realised who the man in the hoody and hat was. The young boy also looked very happy with himself for playing football with a 'stranger'.

Ronaldo will be hoping to continue his fine goalscoring form for Real Madrid when the La Liga season kicks-off on August 21. Madrid face Tottenham tonight at the Allianz Arena.
