Inter threaten legal action

Internazionale have reacted angrily to speculation over the future of coach Roberto Mancini and threatened legal action if reports continue which "do not correspond to the truth of the facts".

Reports in the media suggested there had been a breakdown in communication between the coach and president Massimo Moratti with Mancini´s agent claiming after Tuesday´s 25-minute meeting between the pair that his client had left the club and would be replaced by Jose Mourinho.

A statement on official club website read: "In regard to certain reports released in the media containing the reconstruction of conversations held at the meeting last Tuesday between Massimo Moratti and the coach Roberto Mancini, FC Internazionale informs that: Whether written or reported, or only partially reproduced, these reports do not correspond to the truth of the facts.
