Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher believes missing out on Morgan Schneiderlin could be a huge factor in Arsenal's push for the Premier League title.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Carragher did say he feels Arsenal are the closest challengers to Chelsea's crown this season but losing out on the midfielder could be a pivotal factor in their season.

He said: "I look at Morgan Schneiderlin, to be honest, and think if I were an Arsenal fan, I would have liked him to have come to the club. Francis Coquelin was a revelation in the second half of last season, but we do not know if he can quite continue that over the coming years. And who would play if he was out?
"And I just think that Schneiderlin would have offered Arsenal a massive physical presence - like Nemanja Matic for Chelsea and Yaya Toure for Manchester City - He gives you that power that Arsenal may lack when trying to win the title this year and that is why they may just fall short."
Following a strong end to last season the Gunners are expected to seriously challenge for the Premier League title this season. The arrival of Petr Cech has fuelled expectation around the Emirates.
However it appears Carragher may have hit the nail on the head when it comes to central midfield. While Arsenal are blessed with players that can play in the attacking midfield positions they do not have anyone that fill the role Coquelin does.
Mikel Arteta may be deployed in that role should Coquelin pick up a knock or suspension, but he does not hold the same physical presence and tenacity that the French midfielder offer to the Gunners.
