Czech Republic midfielder Radek Sirl has pulled out of the squad for next month´s European Championships with a knee injury.

Sirl´s absence is another blow for the Czechs, who lost skilful winger Daniel Pudil to a hand injury the same day.

Czech Republic team doctor, Jiri Fousek, said: "Sirl has problems with side knee ligaments. It does not prevent him from running, but when he kicks the ball he has a sharp pain which limits him. He needs to rest it."
