Paris Saint Germain star Lucas Digne is threatening to quit the French club for playing time amid interest from Liverpool.
Brendan Rodgers is a long-term admirer of the versatile defender, whose agent Mikkel Beck told Goal.com that Digne wants 'game time' with Liverpool and Roma both strongly linked.
The 22-year-old is a highly-rated full-back and would offer competition at both the right-back and left-back spots for the Anfield club.

He made just a handful of league appearances last season with competition for places fierce at Laurent Blanc's Parisian outfit.
With a spot in France's Euro 2016 squad up for grabs, Digne wants assurances over a starting role should he decide to move - but considering Alberto Moreno's mixed first season at Liverpool and Javier Manquillo's departure, that would not be out of the question on Merseyside.
"It's simple, there are Euros at the end of the season and Lucas will no longer waste time," Beck said.
"He wants to re-join the France squad for Euro 2016. And that can only happen with game time.
"He must be able to play in a big club and, above all, to have a starting spot. Otherwise it's not worth leaving PSG."
The French international was linked to the Premier League before moving from Lille to PSG in a €15m deal back in 2013, and while it hasn't quite worked out at the Parc des Princes, he remains an excellent young player.
PSG may be looking to sell too, after they splashed the cash to sign former-Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder Angel Di Maria for £45m earlier this week.
That could open up a window of opportunity for Rodgers, who would do well to strengthen a defence that was a weak point for the team last season. They would face competition from Roma though, and the Italian club have the added advantage of Rudi Garcia.
The Roma boss managed Digne at Lille before the two parted ways.
What do you think Liverpool fans - would Digne be a good signing for Liverpool? Does the club need another full-back?
