WWE considering changing Adam Rose back to Leo Kruger character

The WWE ran out of ideas for Adam Rose about a month or two ago, and the South African superstar hasn't been seen since.

Downhill Slump

Rose was doomed ever since Justin Gabriel left the company and 'The Bunny' character went with him. Then, due to cutbacks, the company got rid of his Party Express - which was usually made up of local independent wrestling talent.

The final nail in the coffin was setting him up in a hopeless situation with Rose Mendes becoming his side piece and "cheering" him on the from outside the ring with all the fervor of a rodent. But it seems like Rose could be set for a big change.

Change is Coming

There have been rumours spreading around in recent weeks that Rose is set to completely do away with the character and revert to his Leo Kruger persona. He was supposed to join the Wyatt Family but the WWE backed out of that angle.

Now it seems that Rose is in some sort of character limbo while the WWE decide just what they want to do with him, but change is coming.

Rose furthered speculation on a character change by debuting a "Beef Mode" tag team with Brad Maddox at recent WWE live events, losing to Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow while also appearing in Main Event dark shows.

Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline.com recently noted that it's "stand by" on Rose as there are a few stories going around on what's happening with him. It looks like the Adam Rose gimmick really won't last much longer.

This is a good thing for Rose as he desperately needs some change. Obviously, there was a reason he was forced to change the Leo Kruger character in NXT, but at least back then people would chant along with him, rather than feel complete indifference.
