Sheamus tweets cryptic message as injury rumors continue to circulate

The nature of the WWE and the WWE Universe mean that speculation and rumor can often run wild between shows if something appears to be out of sink with the norm.

The recent absence from the WWE Australian tour, and likely tonight's Monday Night Raw, of Irish Superstar Sheamus fits into that category.

Indeed with rumors of injury and concussion, or that the wrestler might simply be MIA, sweeping the WWE over the past few days the Superstar himself has now taken to social media to clear things up. Well, sort of.

Posting from his official Twitter account, Sheamus paraphrased famous American author Mark Twain to let people know that he wasn't completely AWOL:

The Irish wrestler didn't exactly clear up just why he was pulled from the recent Australian tour or tonight's RAW broadcast but his message has been met with a positive response from his followers:

Whether Sheamus' tweet lines him up for a surprise appearance at RAW now that Big Show has replaced him in advertising for the event remains to be seen.

More likely though, considering several reports have noted a potential concussion suffered by the star, fans might have to make do with social media updates for a few more shows yet - especially with SummerSlam just around the corner, and WWE taking head injuries very seriously at present.
