Arnold Schwarzenegger has accepted Stone Cold Steve Austin’s challenge to meet in the ring on WWE 2K16 to see who is better.

Once one of Schwarzenegger’s characters, The Terminator, was announced to be part of the upcoming video game, the cover star issued a challenge to the actor to a match inside the virtual squared circle, reciting several of the Terminator’s catchphrases.

Austin said to his fellow WWE Hall of Famer in a video released on the WWE’s YouTube: “When you step into a video game with Stone Cold Steve Austin, you’re going to get you’re a** whipped.”

“I’ll be back. No you won’t be back, because I’m going to light you up with a Stone Cold Stunner, drop you on that stack on dimes you call a neck, end of story.”

“Here’s the bottom line Arnold. Hasta la vista, baby.”

Arnold issued a response on his YouTube to the Texas Rattlesnake’s challenge. He said: “What’s the matter with you? Do you have a tumour or something like that? Haha. Well, consider this acceptance of your challenge Stone Cold.”

“Let’s settle this in the 2K ring, with counts, you and me, one-on-one, and let the fans decide.”

“I eat challenges for breakfast and right now, I’m very hungry. Hasta la vista, baby.”

It seems the rivalry between these two WWE Hall of Famers is heating up for a bout in the virtual ring. Could we see this transfer over to the real ring once WrestleMania season comes around? Probably not, but one can hope!

The WWE Universe will be able to decide who wins this rivalry once WWE 2K16 is released in stores on October 27.
