PSV Eindhoven´s board of supervisory directors have thrown their weight behind beleaguered managing director Jan Reker, who has come under increasing pressure to stand down in recent weeks.

Former PSV chief scout Piet de Visser became the latest person to criticise Reker on Tuesday, accusing him of wanting "to meddle in everything".

But the supervisory board on Wednesday stood by the under-fire Reker, PSV chairman Frits Schuitema telling De Telegraaf newspaper: "We will not let anyone tell us that our director must go."
