Alessandro Gamberini knows Fiorentina´s UEFA Cup dream almost died the last time they played on British soil and the defender has called for a more positive attitude in the first leg of the semi-final against Rangers.

The Viola were confident a 2-0 advantage from the home leg of their last-16 clash with Everton would be enough to see them comfortably progress, but instead scraped through in a tense penalty shootout after a fighting performance from the Toffees at Goodison Park.

Gamberini is hoping the correct approach on Thursday night will swing the tie in the Fiorentina´s favour, saying: "We need to have the right attitude."
