Sting hasn't been seen in the WWE Universe since the RAW after WrestleMania earlier this year.
The wrestling legend ultimately lost in his match-up against Triple H, which was basically the ultimate Vince McMahon ego trip with WWE crushing WCW one last time as the head of The Authority got the 1-2-3 over Sting.
During that appearance on the Raw after 'Mania, Sting said he really didn't know what was ahead of him, and he was right not to, seeing as he hasn't been seen since that night. But that could all be set to change.

According to a report from F4WOnline, via Wrestling Inc, the WWE could be set to revive Sting from his slumber very soon, potentially straight after SummerSlam.
The Vigilante was originally going to be involved at SummerSlam as a part of the Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns team taking on the Wyatt Family. That was the plan until Erick Rowan got himself injured and evened out the team naturally, leaving Sting with nothing to do.
That was until now, where Sting could find himself a busy man this Summer in the run up to Night of Champions which takes place in September, or some of the Pay-Per-Views that take place later in the year.
"...It's also possible that WWE uses Sting in September as a hook to sell the WWE Network for that month and Night of Champions, which takes place in Texas, where Sting lives now," Marc Middleton of Wrestling Inc wrote.
If they were to use him, then a feud against Roman Reigns would be perfect. It is widely expected that one of Reigns and Ambrose will be turning heel at SummerSlam and if it were to be Reigns, then a program with Sting as the Vigilante coming to take him down would be awesome and help Reigns 100% if he was taking on a huge face like Sting.
