Manchester United have revealed their new Adidas away kit ahead of the Red Devils' second Premier League fixture against Tim Sherwood's Aston Villa this Friday.

The new kit is a throwback of the classic white outfit worn by the 'Busby Babes' back in the 1960s, and has similarities to the kit famously donned by a young Ryan Giggs back in 1990.

New kit

The new shirt features the classic Adidas three stripes on the shoulders and a V neck collar. As with most top level clubs, the kit is said to enhance the performance of the wearer by using lightweight material and breathable technology to assist the players' comfort on the pitch.

"With more than 650 million fans globally, it is, without doubt, one of the world's most supported sports symbols. This special club not only has a rich history, but also a reputation for success and the unexpected."
