Football News
Nurnberg´s clash with Wolfsburg on Friday night was the first Bundesliga game to be abandoned in 32 years after torrential rain waterlogged the pitch.

It was only the sixth top-flight game to be called off in the history of German football, but referee Jochen Drees felt he was left with no choice.

He waited an hour before making his decision after consulting weather forecasters, local police and the coaches of both teams.
