Smith demands even more from team

Walter Smith knows Rangers have already exceeded all expectations to remain in the hunt for four trophies at this stage of the season - but has warned his players there is still plenty of hard work to do.

The 2-0 win over Sporting Lisbon saw Rangers progress to the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup and on Sunday they will bid to reach the last four of the Scottish Cup at Partick, while they also look hot favourites for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

"Overall this season the players have worked very hard and in the latter stages of the season, if anything, they will have to step up their efforts to make sure that we turn the foundations we have laid into something tangible," said Smith
