Senna shuns title talk

Football News
Villarreal midfielder Marcos Senna insists his side´s prime objective remains securing themselves a Champions League berth, even though they have emerged as unlikely title challengers in recent weeks.

Six wins and two draws from their past eight league games has seen the Yellow Submarine replace Barcelona in second spot and they are now just six points behind leaders Real Madrid.

However, due to an inferior head-to-head record against Madrid this season, Villarreal will need to make up seven points on the pacesetters over the final eight games if they are to claim the first major honour in their history.
