Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller insisted that he doesn't know whether Manchester United will have to offer even more money to secure his services in this transfer window after he scored twice against Hamburg on Friday night.
As reported by Goal.com, the striker, who is recognised as one of the leading forwards in world football, claimed that reporters would have to speak to Louis van Gaal over a potential deal.
United, of course, have been heavily linked with the striker of late, with it being suggested that the club would be willing to offer as much as £50 million to secure his services.

Muller, though, was extremely coy when asked about Manchester United, as when asked whether the Red Devils would have to up their bid, he told Sky Germany: "I don't know. You have to ask him! I am the wrong man for this question!"
Of course, it's yet to be confirmed as to whether United have already swooped for the Bavarians ace, but he'd no doubt make a fine coup for Van Gaal and Co., as the club go in search of making an impact on both the domestic and European scene this term.
One thing's for sure, Muller is exactly the type of player United could do with before the close of the transfer window.
Ultimately, with Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao having departed this past summer, United have a lack of options in attack, with the duo of Javier Hernandez and youngster James Wilson acting as Rooney's only real competition.
And Muller really would improve United up top. Ultimately, he's one of the most lethal finishers in the game and would no doubt settle to Premier League life with ease. With the Bayern player leading the line, and Rooney playing off him, United would have a formidable attack.
