Bayern Munich striker Lukas Podolski admits he has had enough of warming the bench at the Allianz Arena.

The 22-year-old has been largely restricted to substitute appearances this season, with Bayern boss Ottmar Hitzfeld favouring Luca Toni and Miroslav Klose up front.

And the former Koln striker is adamant he will not settle for a place on the bench any longer telling Bild newspaper: "I hope again every weekend that I will be allowed to play from the start. I am understandably very unhappy with my situation at Bayern."
