Matt Barnes gets destroyed by Rihanna on Instagram after dating rumors

Do not get on Rihanna's bad side. That's the moral that NBA player Matt Barnes learned this week.

He had to find out the hard way of course, after seeming to confirm rumors he was actually dating the Pop star earlier in the week.

Rihanna shot back on Sunday, with a completely brutal takedown of the Memphis Grizzlies forward, who is apparently as annoying off the court as he is on it.

Fake Rumors

Barnes and his estranged wife Gloria Govan both talked to TMZ in recent days about the rumors about Barnes and Riri.

Barnes told a reporter that the two were "just past the crush stage" and Govan went on to add that  she didn't mind the two hooking up, as long as the hip-hop star hooked her up with tickets to one of her concerts.

'Rihanna is my friend right now, so we'll see where it goes,' said the basketball star. 'It just passed the crush stage a little bit.'

Rihanna was not a fan of this, which is kind of understandable seeing as she has apparently never even met the NBA. Well at least that's what she said on Instagram.

The 27-year old took to the social media site with a screenshot of Barnes' interview that is very unflattering, along with several hashtags that destroy the Grizzlies free agency pickup, including "this actually hurt my feelings,  shes not into you at all and she never even met you."

The post currently has over 200,000 likes and climbing. Rihanna is an absolute savage, she goes right for the throat - a killing blow.
