Hitzfeld frustrated by Bayern

Bayern Munich coach Ottmar Hitzfeld felt his side´s 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday could have been far more comprehensive.

Luca Toni scored twice as Bayern bounced back from last weekend´s shock defeat to Energie Cottbus and extended their lead at the top of the Bundesliga to seven points. Dmitriy Bulykin pulled one back for the visitors late on, but their faint title hopes are now all but over.

Hitzfeld told Bayern´s official website, "The team´s performance was excellent. We always contained our opponents and played very well going forward."
