Tonight on RAW saw the final live action ahead of this Sunday's Summer Slam event in Brooklyn, New York.

It proved to be a fairly explosive show with both the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar in attendance in Lesnar's home town of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Time to show off

John Cena also made his return after a week away nursing a broken nose suffered on RAW two weeks ago.

However the biggest return of the night came from Dolph Ziggler who after weeks out with a 'throat injury' returned to attack the man who put him on the shelf.

Ziggler came back and made a beeline for Rusev following weeks of him and Summer Rae doing everything they could to embarrass Ziggler's girlfriend Lana.

It all started after yet another destruction of Mark Henry by Rusev and that led to a post-match altercation.

Once Lana got in the ring and brought Rusev and Summer back, it became clear that Lana's plan wouldn't take long to take shape.

Eventually Ziggler would come out and save Lana as the two sent Rusev and Summer running for the hills.

In a backstage segment, Ziggler would beg the Authority for a match with Rusev at Summer Slam - a wish that would be granted later in the show.

The four hour spectacle that is Summer Slam is quickly taking shape and it is sure to be a great event.

The rematch we all want

The main event this Sunday is 16 months in the making as the Undertaker finally returns to challenge Brock Lesnar and avenge his one and only WrestleMania loss.

The two have already combined to create a brawl on RAW that we will never forget and of course the incredible ending at Battleground.

Who knows what the two will create this Sunday at Summer Slam but it will surely not be an event to miss.
