Football News
Deportivo La Coruna´s bid for Primera Liga survival suffered a damaging blow on Saturday evening as the Galicians narrowly lost a tight contest at Real Mallorca 1-0.

Juan Arango struck the only goal of the game midway through the first half to move Mallorca provisionally into the top half of the table and condemn the visitors to a 13th league defeat in their 29 games this season.

Only Levante and Murcia have suffered more and both of those sides look certain to go down.
