France coach Raymond Domenech has named four newcomers in an enlarged 39-man squad for next week´s international friendly double-header against Mali and England - but there is still no place for David Trezeguet.

Mathieu Bodmer, Mathieu Valbuena, Mathieu Delpierre and Adil Rami have been called up by Les Bleus for the first time. Rio Mavuba, impressive since moving to Lille on loan, makes his return to the squad as does Manchester United striker Louis Saha. But Juventus striker Trezeguet, the joint top scorer in Italy´s Serie A this season, has missed out once again.

Domenech said: "I wanted to have the maximum number of players to keep my options open and to cover potential injuries that may occur."
