Football News

You can count on two things in NFL pre-season training camps, big names getting injured and fights breaking out.

The latter seems to have grabbed the headlines more in this pre-season, ahead of the 2015 campaign, with several teammates breaking out in to brawls as the tensions rise.

Bryant Rocked

The Dallas Cowboys and Saint Louis Rams got in to one hell of a fight at their joint practice yesterday. In the middle of it, Cowboys star wide receiver Dez Bryant got punched square in the face.

According to a report from The Big Lead, Bryant was apparently talking to team owner Jerry Jones as the fighitng broke out. He ran toward the fight, without a helmet, and wound up with a punch in the face for his troubles from a St. Louis player.

Jason McIntyre thankfully tweeted out a video of Bryant getting his nose busted in.

Bryant, who apparently has seen the social-media reaction to taking knuckles to the nose, sounded off on Twitter.

“I wish I would have cheap shot his ass then all of y’all would have seen the difference,” Bryant said. “You can’t even put that sh-t on world star lol.”

Bryant is right, it was a cheap shot on a player that wasn't wearing a helmet. Pretty poor showing from whoever that Rams player is that threw his fist.
