Hector Cuper will be unveiled as Parma coach on Wednesday morning, the Serie A club confirmed on Tuesday evening.

The Argentinian will take over from Domenico Di Carlo, who was dismissed on Monday following the 2-1 home defeat to Sampdoria - a result which saw the Ducale outfit slip to 17th in the standings.

Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi confirmed earlier on Tuesday that the club were close to appointing Cuper as their new coach.
