Croatia midfielders Jurica Vranjes and Marko Babic have been told they still have a chance of being involved in Euro 2008 despite being omitted from Slaven Bilic´s squad to face Scotland on March 26.

Bilic has named a strong 19-man squad with the coach stating he intends to treat the Hampden Park friendly as a real test of his side´s capabilities ahead of the showpiece finals in Austria and Switzerland.

He said: "The Scots don´t treat any match as a friendly, so this is going to be the real test of our chances, two months before the Euro 2008 kick-off. Also, it will be our last meeting before preparations start in mid-May."
