Bayern Munich midfielder Mark van Bommel is confident he will return to the Holland team after Euro 2008.

The 30-year-old was not called up for the Euro 2008 qualifiers versus Luxembourg and Belarus in September 2006 and vowed not to play for Oranje again during Marco van Basten´s tenure.

But with van Bommel´s father-in-law Bert van Marwijk taking over as coach after the European Championships the former PSV man is targeting a return to the fold and said: "After Euro 2008 my father-in-law Bert van Marwijk is the head coach of Holland, but I would be ready for a return for any replacement of Marco van Basten."
