Football News
Recreativo defender Quique Alvarez insists his conscience is clear after his lunge on Real Madrid winger Arjen Robben sidelined the Dutchman for a month.

Robben is facing about four weeks out with a severely sprained ankle after being on the receiving end of a reckless challenge from Alvarez, which resulted in him being sent off, during Real´s 3-2 win on Saturday.

"The tackle was hard, but without intention to damage," said Alvarez.
