Jimenez: Attacking style cost us

Sevilla´s all-action attacking style may have served them well over the last few years, but coach Manolo Jimenez believes that same mentality might also have caused their downfall against Fenerbahce.

Despite trailing 3-2 from the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash with the Turkish side, Sevilla looked to be cruising into the quarter-finals as they swept into a 2-0 lead in the return leg after just nine minutes.

However, the Andalusian side chose not to shut up shop at that stage and continued to pressure their opponents, which subsequently led to opportunities for Fenerbahce.
