Arsenal dumped holders AC Milan out of the Champions League at the San Siro with a 2-0 victory following late goals from Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayor.

Spain international Fabregas smashed in a brilliant 25-yard strike with just six minutes left, before Adebayor made sure of the win to send the Gunners through to the quarter-finals.

Arsenal were good value for their victory following a determined display and Fabregas had hit the crossbar in the first half.
