Antonio Cassano´s latest show of petulance may have cost him a chance to represent Italy at Euro 2008.

Cassano was sent off for using foul language towards referee Nicola Pierpaoli in Sunday´s clash with Torino and responded by throwing his shirt at the official.

The 25-year-old has apologised for his actions, but he is expected to face disciplinary action from the Lega Calcio, with a four-match ban the likely punishment.
