Football News
French champions Lyon have expressed their anger at reports claiming Jose Mourinho rejected the head coach position at the club.

In a statement released to the French press on Friday, Lyon said the claims were untrue and were published simply to disrupt the Ligue 1 leaders.

It read: "OL is appalled by these reports which only serve to unsettle and disturb Alain Perrin and his players just before two key fixtures: Saturday at the Stade de France against Lille and Tuesday evening at Old Trafford (against Manchester United) for a place in the Champions League quarter-finals."
