Former Arsenal and Barcelona striker Thierry Henry sung praise of Pedro amidst rumours of the Spaniard making a switch to Manchester United.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Henry said: ”The perfect team-mate, the perfect professional – he is that guy.

“He pressures from the front, but he’s also the player that any manager would love to have. You know what you’re going to get with Pedro, always 100 per cent.

"The way he plays, the way he trains, he doesn’t talk, he doesn’t create any problem for you, he’s a team player who had exactly what you would love to have as a team-mate, as a player, or if you’re the boss."

Pedro and Henry were team-mates between 2007 and 2010 and since breaking into the Barcelona squad in 2007-08 season, Pedro has featured in 321 games for the Catalan giants, scoring 99 goals in all competitions.

A product of the La Masia academy, the tricky winger has already won every possible trophy as an international footballer, with a trophy cabinet that boasts Champions League, La Liga, World Cup and Euro Championship winners medals alongside a host of other accolades in his career.
