Rangers old boy Sotirios Kyrgiakos believes Walter Smith´s side can get the better of Werder Bremen in the UEFA Cup if they can unsettle Diego.

The Brazilian attacking midfielder is the main threat to Rangers, but Kyrgiakos discovered how easily he is wound up at the weekend when Diego was sent off for barging the Greek defender, who now plays for Eintracht Frankfurt.

Recalling the incident, Kyrgiakos said: "After I challenged him he was on the turf and I just told him to get up. The next moment he barged into me. So he has a temperament and if Rangers can frustrate him then they can be successful."
