This past Monday night saw the final RAW before the big four hour Summer Slam special which takes place on Sunday night.

Broadcasting live from the home of the Beast Brock Lesnar - Minneapolis, Minnesota, the crowd were excited to cheer their home town hero.

Too eager to see Lesnar

Throughout the show, the final segment was advertised and unsurprisingly, it featured Lesnar and his return home.

However the crowd in attendance seemed unhappy about having to wait to see the Beast incarnate and chanted his name several times throughout the show.

One of the times that the crowd broke out in the Lesnar chant however came during a diva's match between NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks and Diva's Champion Nikki Bella.

The two who are heavily involved in the Divas revolution went head to head but the fans were somewhat distracted.

Chants of "We want Lesnar" rang around the Target Center as the match went on and in the days following the show, many have criticised it.

After being told by a fan that they were disappointed that people were calling for Lesnar during her match, Sasha Banks has sent a very big claim about the WWE Universe.

"They want change yet don’t change themselves” - Banks' response to the We want Lesnar chants

Even hardcore legend Mick Foley has come out and said how disrespectful it was for the crowd to chant for Lesnar during someone else's match.

But was this a case of trying to disrespect the divas or was it simply a crowd desperate to see their home town hero?

A revolution still in progress?

The diva's revolution kicked off with a bang but has somewhat fizzled out with the build up to Summer Slam being overshadowed.

A bigger issue is dominating as the Diva's championship continues to go undefended and will now surely remain with Nikki Bella until she beats AJ Lee's record for longest title reign.

Some fans have now fallen back to where we were before the NXT diva's debuted and have once again become uninterested in the Diva's division.

With a nine woman elimination tag team match set for Summer Slam, it is now on the diva's to do something to once again increase the reputation of their division.
