Liverpool have had a bid of £15 million for Borussia Dortmund attacking-midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan accepted by the German club.
The Independent suggest the Bundesliga outfit are ready to sell the Armenian ace to the Reds in this transfer window, as Brendan Rodgers continues to change the dynamics of his squad at Anfield.
Liverpool have been linked with the Dortmund star for some time now, with it now seemingly looking increasingly likely that the club will get their man over the coming weeks.

It remains to be seen, however, as to whether Italian giants Juventus, who have also been linked with the player's signature, step up their interest in him anytime soon.
It appears, though, that the Reds are in the driving seat to sign the midfield ace, who would prove quite the coup for the Merseyside outfit, as they go in search of improvement after last season's torrid campaign.
One thing's for sure, Liverpool are certainly on the up under Rodgers. Of course, last season was one to forget for all involved with the club, but there's no reason why they won't be able to kick on in this campaign.
And the prospect of Mkhitaryan arriving at Anfield should excite the club's faithful. There's no doubt about it, the signing of the 26-year-old really would prove an inspired one should the club secure the transfer.
With the likes of Adam Lallana, Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Co. plying their trade under Rodgers, the Reds certainly have an exciting attacking line, and Mkhitaryan would only enhance that. Of course, it's far from certain as to whether the player would be willing to leave Dortmund behind, but it appears to be a possible deal for the club.
