Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has insisted that he cannot speak about French international Paul Pogba despite claiming that Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has been talking about the Blues duo of Oscar and Ramires throughout the course of the summer transfer window.

As reported by the London Evening Standard, Mourinho, who was speaking ahead of his side's Premier League clash with West Brom at the Hawthorns, claimed that he couldn't speak about Pogba because he is a Juventus player.

The Blues, of course, have been linked with a move for the dynamic midfielder in recent time, with reports claiming that the west London outfit could offer as much as £60 million for the former Manchester United star's services.

Mourinho, though, failed to reject the possibility of Pogba moving to Stamford Bridge before the close of the transfer window.

The Chelsea boss told reporters: “He is a Juventus player. I cannot speak about a Juventus player.

"I know (Juventus coach) Massimiliano Allegri was speaking about Oscar and Ramires all summer, but I don't do that about Juventus players. Only Allegri can speak about him, not me.”

Incredible signing

There's absolutely no getting away from the fact that the signing of Pogba really would prove a remarkable one for Jose Mourinho and Co.

Ultimately, the French ace is one of the most complete midfielders in the game right now despite only being 22-years of age. With the club having already secured the services of Pedro, the capture of Pogba really would give Chelsea the edge once again in the Premier League title race.

A front six of Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Cesc Fabregas, Pedro, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa really would put Chelsea well in front of their rivals on the domestic scene and stand them in good stead as they go in search of claiming Champions League silverware.
