Football News
Fiorentina kept their challenge for fourth place on track with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Catania at the Artemio Franchi stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Zdravko Kuzmanovic opened the scoring with his first goal for the Tuscan side before Juan Vargas equalised on the hour mark, but Adrian Mutu restored the Viola´s lead 10 minutes later.

Most of the first half was played out in the midfield with clear-cut chances at a premium for both sides.
