Adnan Januzaj has enjoyed a mini rival of his Manchester United career in the past fortnight, but that has not stopped a host of Premier League clubs being confident they can prize him away, on a loan deal, before the transfer window closes.
The Belgian was handed a surprise start against Aston Villa and made the most of his opportunity, scoring the winning goal after 29 minutes.
Januzaj retained his place in the starting line-up for the games against Club Brugge and Newcastle United, and his less than inspiring performances have convinced clubs that Louis van Gaal would be prepared to temporarily part company with the 20-year-old.

The Liverpool Echo are reporting that Everton are closing in on a deal, with Roberto Martinez being a long-term admirer of Januzaj.
The Goodison Park club tried to sign the Manchester United midfielder in January before the move was blocked by Van Gaal, however the Merseyside outfit are more confident this time around.
talkSport are also claiming West Ham are interested in Januzaj after their back-to-back defeats to Leicester and Bournemouth. Sunderland were also linked with a move for the youngster and Juventus are admirers.
Januzaj has been given an opportunity after impressed in training, but his two recent performances have been poor. He is not the only player in the United squad to be under performing right now, with the team getting off to a slow start, despite picking up seven points.
Despite starting the last three games Januzaj has failed to complete a full match so far, being taken off before the 70th minute mark on each occasion.
The Belgian international has been given the role of playing behind Wayne Rooney, who himself is struggling for form, and with Juan Mata and Memphis Depay preferring to drift inside from the wide positions the space for the Red Devil's acting players to manoeuvre is limited.
Louis van Gaal's men are crying out for some width and if an out and out wide player is brought in Januzaj could find himself fall down the pecking order behind Juan Mata, who has arguably been one of United's best players so far.
