Nice run ended

Mamadou Niang returned from the African Nations Cup to fire Marseille to victory at fourth-placed Nice - breaking the hosts´ 20-game unbeaten home run in the process.

The Senegalese struck after 25 minutes and former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse grabbed a second with 15 minutes remaining to break the home side´s 13-match unbeaten league run and move OM up to fifth.

Nice had not lost in Ligue 1 since October and were undefeated at home in over a year, but they had no answer to Marseille´s strike partnership at Stade du Ray, which had blitzed Caen 6-1 last time out without Niang.
