WWE: Sting could make a shock return on Raw tonight

Football News

Sting hasn't been seen in the WWE Universe since the RAW after WrestleMania earlier this year.

The wrestling legend ultimately lost in his match-up against Triple H, which was basically the ultimate Vince McMahon ego trip with WWE crushing WCW one last time as the head of The Authority got the 1-2-3 over Sting.

During that appearance on the Raw after 'Mania, Sting said he really didn't know what was ahead of him, and he was right not to, seeing as he hasn't been seen since that night. But that could all be set to change.

Sting's Return

According to a report from PWInsider, via Wrestling Inc, several sources indicate Sting flew back to New York City last night, which could mean he appears at RAW tonight.

Sting was in New York earlier this weekend for WWE but he flew to Chicago for a Wizard World Comic Con appearance.

Guess who else is also scheduled for RAW tonight? Why that would be The Undertaker of course. All fingers will be permanently crossed for him to somehow make an appearance in this feud between Taker and Brock Lesnar.

There were originally plans for Sting to get involved with the feud between Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and the Wyatt Family, but those were scrapped when Erick Rowan got injured for the rest of the year and it was reduced to just a two-on-two thing.

But Sting really needs something to do and he has to make a return. Anything less than a feud with Undertaker would be beneath him at this point.
