Sevilla coach Manolo Jimenez was in no doubt that his side let two points slip through their grasp against second-placed Barcelona after being held to a 1-1 home draw.

The Andalusian side bossed the first half and took a deserved 35th-minute lead through winger Diego Capel, but they could not go on to take the spoils with Barca levelling 15 minutes from time through Xavi.

Soon after Xavi´s strike, Sevilla lost midfield powerhouse Seydou Keita to a red card, but irrespective of playing the final 12 minutes a man down, Jimenez believes the UEFA Cup holders should have ended up with the win.
