Manning has surely taken his fair share of hits over his career and it can often be difficult to tell just how much impact they have had on him.

Well in some recent comments, Broncos fans may have some real reason for concern after their quarterback has revealed some distressing details.

Manning has had a history with injuries and has been put under the knife to repair them in the past, but it looks like they're still affecting him.

"I can’t feel anything in my fingertips ... It’s crazy. I’ve talked to a doctor recently who said, ‘Don’t count on the feeling coming back.' " - Manning on his current health

Naturally, any injury to the hand is a big deal for a quarterback but for Manning to have had no feeling in his fingertips for the last two years is quite remarkable.

Manning's season was hindered by an injury last year which despite him continuing to play, his productivity was clearly lowered as a result.

It led to everyone questioning if 2014 would be Manning's last year and some serious doubts over his NFL return.

He has returned however and is reportedly looking good in camp so could we be about to see a big year from number 18?
