Hitzfeld sees room for improvement

Football News
Bayern Munich coach Ottmar Hitzfeld believes his side must improve on their performance against Hansa Rostock on Friday if they are to be successful this season.

Bayern were irresistible in the first half with goals from Franck Ribery and Luca Toni setting them on the way to victory, but a resurgent Rostock scored early in the second half and made Bayern work hard for their 2-1 win.

"We showed two faces," said Hitzfeld. "I am happy with the way we battled, but not with the way we played. Rostock suddenly changed completely and we stopped playing football."
