Bakary Sako starting off right at Crystal Palace

August 22 was an important day for Bakary Sako. Not only did the ex-Wolves winger make his very first Premier League appearance this past Saturday.

He also scored the game-winning goal during the 87th minute of the match against Aston Villa with the final score putting Crystal Palace winning 2-1 over Aston Villa

Sako came to Crystal Palace F.C. on a free transfer after his contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers ended at the end of the 2014-15 season.

While Wolves supporters were sad to see Sako leave. There is no doubt they are pleased and excited to see their hero starting out so successfully for Crystal Palace.

While this is only the first appearance for Bakary Sako. Manager Alan Pardew is excited about the potential that Sako has with side, he told the Palace website:"He will be a real asset for us, he's announced himself today in no uncertain manner." 

With Crystal Palace currently performing above expectations within the Premier League so far currently sitting at fifth place in the standings with six points.

There is no doubt that Crystal Palace will be looking to utilise Bakary Sako as much as possible to keep this good run going as long as possible.

It will be interesting to see whether or not Bakary Sako will be in the plans for Crystal Palace with three tough opponents coming up in the Premier League with Chelsea, Man City, and Spurs over the next three weeks.
