Football News
Serie A top scorer David Trezeguet has failed to make it into an enlarged 36-man France squad for next week´s friendly double-header against DR Congo and Spain.

The Juventus striker has scored 15 goals in the Italian top flight this season, but he remains out of favour for his country and is not one of the nine attackers named by coach Raymond Domenech.

Three players - Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, Arsenal left-back Gael Clichy and Monaco forward Jeremy Menez - are called up for the first time.
