LA Galaxy boss Bruce Arena has tipped Steven Gerrard to become the future manager of Liverpool.
As reported by The Sun, Arena claims that the former Reds skipper will definitely go into management when his playing career comes to an end.
Gerrard, of course, left Merseyside behind in favour of a move to Los Angeles at the end of last season, and the Galaxy boss has hailed the former England international for the way he's settled to life in the US.

One thing's sure, Arena expects Gerrard to be on the touchline in the future, but hopes he won't be replacing him as manager of the Galaxy.
He stated: “Steven’s next step in the game is to be a manager, no question about it. He’s very studious about what goes on.
“We talk about what he’s done at Liverpool and we compare notes.
“Where that’s going to be, I don’t know. At Galaxy? I hope not as I’m the manager!
“I’d actually love it if someone like that could replace me but I don’t think it’s going to be with the Galaxy.
“I would guess he’ll go back to England and then you can guess where he might end up after that.
“By the time he got here he knew everyone. He knew the names of players he was meeting for the first time.
“He knew about their qualities as players. We’ve had other players where the transition was a major chore and with him it was so smooth it was ridiculous.”
Liverpool return has to happen
In truth, it's surely only a matter of time before Gerrard returns to Anfield. And perhaps he really will become the manager of the club in the future. He certainly has the credentials to become a top coach at the highest level.
Over the years, we've seen him lead from the front on Merseyside, proving an inspirational figure to those around him. One thing's for sure, Gerrard will be determined to prove himself all over again to the Kop.
There's no way Gerrard will be kept away from Liverpool for too long. Perhaps he will even manage to secure his first Premier League title with the club...
